Title: Needed: Gates Transmitter Info Post by: K2PG on August 18, 2005, 02:30:51 PM I need a copy of the schematic of the solid-state RF exciter section of the following Gates transmitters: AMfone - Dedicated to Amplitude Modulation on the Amateur Radio Bands
BC5H, BC5HA, BC10HA. The exciter in our AM transmitter at work is slowly dying (possibly due to a resistor changing value or a capacitor becoming leaky) and I do not have the schematic for this transmitter. Due to its age (approximately 40 years), Harris (Gates) no longer supports this unit. Does anybody have a copy of this schematic? VE3AAM, maybe? If so, please call me at work at (570) 208-1345.
