Title: Stancor 60P info
Post by: Steve W8TOW on August 09, 2005, 02:10:03 PM
I just acquired a pre-WWII Stancor 60P tx...
single HK24 modulated by a pair of 6L6's....
All original iron but boy, rough front panel...
There are some labels missing... (I did get the "60-P" label tho)

Would anyone out there have a 60P so I could get a "REAL" close up
pix... one of the under side would be nice too...

Steve - I have a 60P. Please email me offlist st: n3ibx@verizon.net.  I'd be glad to do a fotoshoot for you.

BTW, the 60P is a kewlbeanerz old rig to use on the air. The HK24 final's plate glows a nice orange red at about 30W output. Anymore than that the 6L6's don't make quite enough "poop" to modulate the little triode.

Best Regards,
