Post by: n8yhy on July 29, 2005, 07:45:54 PM
Hello i was wondering if any one has performed the carrier mod on a DX-60? And if so could someone help with a little more info on this modification? The Link to the mod and the schematic is listed below..Thanks Chris N8YHY..

I have a question on the carrier control pot used in the mod. Is that supposed to be 50 or 50K ohms? The reason I ask is because the original circuit has a 33k resistor from the cathode to ground. I've got an old DX-60B that I'd like to bring back to life.

It's definitely 50K ohms.  Typo but seems obvious enough.
