Quote Reactance would be nuttin with out pi. I love it!!!! I celebrated by eating Shoo-fly pi! Although I'm sure it had a little 'reactance' with my pancreas! ;)Title: Re: National Pi day Post by: AJ1G on March 15, 2024, 10:19:03 AM My son Ben, the high school math teacher, and the rest of the math teachers at Stonington HS always have fun celebrating Pi Day. The cafeteria usually serves Shepherd’s Pie, a long time student favorite anytime it’s on the menu.

The 5-B size took about 10 minutes but that was an older machine. standard is a text file, but just try opening it in Notepad. (Notepad++ will do it very very slowly) Getting that thing into a PDF for reasonably convenient viewing was a chore.
Title: Re: National Pi day Post by: KD1SH on March 20, 2024, 12:56:23 PM Now, the next time you wind a coil, you'll be right on. All you need to do now is to come up with a way to count your turns to five billion digits. Calculate twice, wind once.

I was at what they called the "SIXES" party... there is a spot in Pi that is a long string of sixes and we all celebrated that happening. I don't remember much else about the calc or how far they took it... Good Party.... |
