Title: K5IIA SK Post by: KD6VXI on March 01, 2024, 03:40:34 AM Was just informed through an 11 meter friend that Brandon passed away recently.
He used to be a regular fixture here back years ago so I figured people may want to know. You never know what demons someone is trying to hold back RIP Brandon. https://www.qrz.com/db/K5IIA --Shane WP2ASS / ex KD6VXI Title: Re: K5IIA SK Post by: KD6VXI on March 01, 2024, 08:50:20 AM Service held today.

He seemed like a nice fellow. Condolences to his family and friends.

We used to talk quite often on 75 and visited at the Jackson, Ms. hamfest. Brandon was a good guy, very knowledgeable in ham radio and totally adored his daughter Brianna. My condolences to his family. He will be missed!

Title: Re: K5IIA SK Post by: Todd, KA1KAQ on March 25, 2024, 04:36:07 PM Very sorry to see this. Brandon and I used to chat on 40 and sometimes 80m about raising our young daughters in today's world, as well as radio. He truly loved being a dad and very much enjoyed all things radio. Seemed he was always up to some new project, trying some new antenna design, or whatever caught his attention then. Been a while since we talked, so no idea if he was sick, had an accident at work, or what. I hope his soul has found peace.

I am sorry to hear of Brandon's passing. While we did not QSO on the air, we did email. As a fellow ham from Louisiana, there are not too many AM'ers in the Gulf South. RIP Brandon Dan W1DAN Title: Re: K5IIA SK Post by: Steve - K4HX on April 16, 2024, 07:30:48 PM Wow. So sorry to hear this. Talked to Brandon quite a few time on 40 meter and a few times on 75 in the past. Gone too soon. :'( AMfone - Dedicated to Amplitude Modulation on the Amateur Radio Bands
