When you run into a seasoned ham that you have not worked before try a net search on his call. Sometimes it will show up in an online QSL display. You can then tell the guy that you found one of his cards from 1939 or whenever and send him a printout. This recently happened on 160.

Herb K2VH,
Check out card 34 in the "W2's".  A 1956 card from K2JVM is listed!

I still have a lot of old buzzard QSL's. Some real famous cats, goes back into the 20's. I should do something with em.

Bruce - Thanks for sharing the info with us! It's a real FBOM site.

BTW, My big antenna fawl down and go boom. I should be out in the yard fixing it rather than surfing the web - hi! Hope to mod-u-sooner-than-later.

Derbmeister,
Any chance you have cards from W8HVE, W2IP,1IV,W1IV,W3TCC,W3TYX,W3CIL,W2JV,W2BVI,9CFA,W9CFA?

I've got their HB rigs and would love to have their corresponding QSL's to match. Any leads appreciated!

Glad to see he's wearing his suit and tie at the rig....  Is
this the 1929 QSL of the previous holder of your call?

Yep. Mr. Van Handle was the first. I guess I am the second.
A guy had it for sale on E-Bay along with a bunch of other cards. He used that card and several others as samples, so  I BORROWED it. :D
