Title: New Filament test Results with 3rd winding Post by: ko4nrbs on July 06, 2023, 07:46:22 PM Wound 25 turns on the Ameritron filament choke with approximately 25.5uh inductance at 1.900mHz. This is the 3rd winding. Couldn't wind it exactly in the space between the existing turns because they were spreading apart. AMfone - Dedicated to Amplitude Modulation on the Amateur Radio Bands
Test results 1K ohm carbon resistor 1.900mHz Before resistor- 6.4v After resistor- 2.8v Carbon Potentiometer set to 600 ohms. Before Pot- 6.2v After Pot- 3.2v Thoughts? Bill |
