Title: Johnson microphones?
Post by: WD4LUR on March 03, 2023, 10:53:11 AM
Did E. F. Johnson make microphones for their ham transmitters in the 1950s? I have done a search online and the only vintage Johnson mic  I can find is the is the Turner manufactured Johnson labeled mic that they sold with some of the CB rigs.

Thanks,
Dan

Hi Dan....... most of the Johnson microphones were made by Shure and private labeled. There are a few Astatic mobile mics too along with the Turners you mention.
