Title: Peter Costa W1ZZZ SK
Post by: W1DAN on December 03, 2022, 09:41:32 AM
Folks:

Peter's wife alerted me to Peter's passing Friday December 2, 2022. There currently is no memorial planned, but the family may hold one later.

Peter was a Boston Globe writer, author of his Costa Living book series, created the popular Lonely Guys net currently run by Steve WA1QIX every Saturday at 8AM on 3875KHz, and had a fun wit from "the domed city of Wellesley".

God Bless and Rest In Peace Peter!

Well I am very sadden to hear about Peter! He wasn't very active for the last four years or so but I am not sure his absents was health related or for other reasons? Anyhow Peter was a good guy and I'll remember him for his straw hat he wore to the festers among other kind gestures. RIP Peter!

Yeah - have not been on here for a bit, kinda busy... heard on-the-air that Peter had passed away.

Always a fun and interesting person to QSO with on 75m!
Was he the one who said he was in the "domed city"??

Very nice write up Dan.  I did not know Peter, but it sounds like he was a very accomplished person.
