Post by: pe1mph on November 23, 2022, 02:04:16 PM
Hallo AM Lovers,
This morning I listen again to mw and sw, before I go to my work.

(Between 06.00 to +/- 06.25 by me, thats 05.00 to +/- 05.25 GMT time)

A pity this morning very weak signals from USA BC stations on mw.
But.... but..... who I heard on 3885 khz in AM?

K1KW, Chuck with a good signal and some fading
I made a recording with my mobile phone...
Listen below :)

Only some words I could hear from the other station on 3885 talking with Chuck.
Hi, hi.... I heard Chuck evenso on a webreceiver from Theo (PE1OPQ):

Henk (PA2HV) heard Chuck evenso this morning, he sent my this message by App:
Henk,
I heard K1KW with S9 +20. Never before I heard a USA station on 3885 khz in AM with such strong signal!
And Henk, he made very nice things, I can not believe....  it looks like it is comming from a factory!

Oh nice to hear AM between 3870 - 3885 khz.
But often there is cw? or digitale noise on +/- 3880 khz, thats a pity :'(
Therefore I need mostly to listen in AM narrow.
But this morning thats not needed to hear Chuck!
