Title: Eico 720 PSU Post by: WA4WAX on April 05, 2022, 06:10:39 PM The 720 has a choke input supply.
I am thinking about replacing the 40 uF with some 68 uF 105C that I have. Thoughts? Title: Re: Eico 720 PSU Post by: DMOD on April 06, 2022, 01:08:45 AM You'll be going from a total of 20uF to 34uF .
Check the ripple voltage before and after and see if you see any reduction in the 120Hz ripple voltage.
