Title: Single phase to 3-phase converters Post by: W1ITT on January 03, 2022, 03:59:56 PM I just got my Grizzly Tool catalog today. I have bought shop tools and things from them for ages. They sell good solid stuff. While drooling my way through the pages I came across their single phase to 3-phase converters, both rotary converters and electronic converters. It occurred to me that these may be of interest to radio amateurs to power some of the ex-commercial rigs that occasionally follow us home.

Many of them run on 120VAC. However, you need one for twice the HP rating or equivalent of what you are converting.
