Hello: Can someone tell me how to determine the the BASE EMITTER COLLECTOR on 289A transistor a C735Y transistor, these should all be NPN transistors I hope.

It's a nifty  pic-based component tester that tells you what something is, and what leads are what.  It does transistors, diodes, capacitors etc.  I've had mine for a couple years now, bought direct from China for less money but a longer wait. Bob, W1GWU, the voice of Hosstraders for those who remember back, got one at the same time and they've been flawless.  Search on "transistor tester" and there a lots of the same to choose from, but this one is plug and play in an enclosure.  Pure magic.
