Title: Help I'd these spare parts
Post by: WA1LGQ on April 18, 2021, 10:53:09 AM
I have a box of military spare parts that I am wondering about. I probably don't have the unit(s) that they go with and will probably want to unload them, but what do they go to??? Don't know. Here is a sampling:
capacitors:
CSL-48101-D1
CSL-48487-B10
RF-CHOKE L-CL-10001
REACTOR CUT-301278 (L-305)
Test Set I-139A
RELAY C-RL-10001
MULTIMETER TYPE CAY-22291-D

Thanks for any info!...............Larry

The I-139A is part of the SCR522 test equipment:

For Navy parts, the Navy Type Number book will sometimes help. You can get brief specs and sometimes the manufacturer's equivalent number. It will usually show the first equipment a component was used in. Capacitor 48487 was first used in the TAJ-5 transmitter.  However 48101 is just listed as "General Use".
Meter 22291-D was used in the TBX-8.

Thanks for the information! I think the stuff goes with the TBX-8, and there is a hand crank generator in its bag and a bunch of other stuff in a big pile that I have to go through...........Larry
