Interesting design, and quite functional.

Looks impossible to service or assemble.

Not sure why you say that Bear. Those drawers open completely and can even be removed.

I like it.

The only caveats that come to mind are the weight ratings of the slides, whether they are ball bearings with metal instead of the plastic inserts (as seen on some China tool chests), and how the hot air exits the cabinet, and how shielding of the box and the internal grounding of the various shelves etc. is accomplished. None of that makes it impractical but they are special considerations. I like the color scheme and the roll-around feature.

Noticed that the amp drawer seemed to have to be lifted a bit to close fully but it gets no bad mark from me there. It seems more rugged than some modern amps. The heavy power transformer is a plus. Nothing like overkill on a power supply, good job on the building of it.

Wish the video was longer and showed more about the construction details including the cooling and what tube was used.

I don't like LCD meters because they can be hard to see at a glance especially if not backlit. Also, those are mounted low and there could be a viewing angle issue reducing contrast, but that's all personal stuff. For digital meters and that color scheme, some orange Nixies or red/orange LEDs would be the thing!

Because he could not even fully open the drawers for the video.
And working inside a box with only and open top? No thanks.

How do you get at the back to do the wiring between drawers?

Not for me.
No thanks.

I'd consider slides on real chassis of some sort mounted in a rack cabinet
with an open(ing) back... maybe.

Just not something that had that solid "ring" when I looked at it.

Maybe the monochrome orange was what did it? (nah)
