Title: Signals through the snow
Post by: AG5UM on February 18, 2021, 04:39:46 PM
Here in the Oklahoma backwoods we've been snowed in and having a very cold spell, happily surprised to hear Tim WA1HLR,
cutting through the weather loud and clear. If I understand right... on a "100" watt modified Globe champ? Antenna, 190 ft. up in the air. Two "dipoles" forming an array? This antenna sounds very interesting, I've never tried that before myself. I may have got this all wrong... so correct me if needed. Anyway, Tim is doing a great job cutting through the weather into Oklahoma.
Very cool Tim!!
