I remember that the TM for the unit was for the "A" model which was from 1952, but the model we had was later than that. Don't remember the model we had; too long ago. This unit worked after being beat over really bad roads, or no roads, in either a M151 1/4 T [jeep], 3/4 T truck [don't remember nomenclature], or M-35 2 1/2 T truck. Weighs about 80 or so pounds, IIRC.
