Title: websdr back up Post by: n1ps on December 07, 2020, 10:25:12 AM After yet another big storm in the northeast, twice in a week and 2 for 2 on power/internet outages, we are back up. I dont think I ran the generator for more than 4 hours for the last 15 months, and 50 hrs plus for this week! AMfone - Dedicated to Amplitude Modulation on the Amateur Radio Bands
Hopefully things quiet down. The internet goes down about 6 hrs after an outage as there is a cable amp on the street with a battery. I have a UPS on the websdr....but doesnt help with a long outage. Well that is why we now have 2, 75M WEBSDRs in New England now....I think Steve (WA1STH) WEBSDR did not have any P/I interruptions in these storms.
