Title: T-368 How to Adjust the plate overload relay
Post by: w4ax on March 08, 2020, 03:19:38 PM
Friends,

I have a new to me T-368 and the plate protection circuit is tripping at too low a current per the manual. The manual describes removing the 4-400 and clamper tubes then connecting a 5900 ohm 1500 watt variable load to the B+ in series with an amp meter.

Since I don't have a suitable variable load I'd like to know if someone has discovered another way to load the B+ safely. I'm very experienced working around high voltage and vintage equipment.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
