Title: Washers and Nuts for Switches, Pots and Phone Jacks
Post by: Carl WA1KPD on December 24, 2019, 11:21:57 AM
Like most BA restorers, I replace a lot of front pannel hardware for these components as they have rusted, discolored etc
Anybody know a source for replacement items?
Tnx and Happy Holidays

Check out McMaster-Carr. They stock small pattern stainless steel washers that measure: 3/8" I.D. X 1/2-9/16" O.D. and are available in 0.030, 0.060" thickness.  Have not seen source for 3/8" small pattern "jam" nuts in the finer thread sizes that fit poteniometers and jacks.  Salvage what you can from junk chassis... Hope this helps.

They have many other parts. Dealers abound, ask a guitar store or repair shop in your neighborhood.

"F" (cable TV) series bulkhead connectors run the same stuff as pot nuts.
