One hundred and forty pounds! Looks like plenty of iron in the picture, and maybe an oil filled cap, too. Book says TB35 final; my copy of "Tube Type Transmitters" (highly recommended) says it's an 814. Power to the Pentode!

Could be a later version or something. Hopefully it's good. The gentleman said he would trade.
It runs the metal 6L6's kind of hard at idle but there should be no shortage of audio. Modulator (AB2) Plate 410V @ 200/225mA Screen 310V Grid 0V Cathode 28V ================= PA Plate 1080V @ 120mA Screen 310V Grid -90V @ 20-30mA It requires two C batteries so it would not be out of the question to think about that. Not much need to talk about mods but I'm kind of getting excited about it as an electrical restoration/longevity upgrade project. It has a VFO which is great and takes two crystals. Hope the iron is good. Unknown what shape it's in now except the appearance. It's in great shape, it's rare, and I'd kick myself a bruise all the way home if I didn't buy it. Life's too short for plastic radios. Wallow in the hollow!
