The great purge continues. Gotta downsize. More stuff coming, but I have to get the recent items sold boxed up and ready to go.

Here is one more listing before I take a break. Outboard audio units for sale:

1. CBS Volumax 400 - good condition, appears to be in good working condition, original manual included

2. dbx 160X compressor/limiter - good condition, also appears to be in good working condition. No manual.

3. Presonus Studio Channel preamp/compressor/equalizer - bought new about I year ago, used very little

Here is the story. The Volumax was liberated from a local broadcast station. The dbx was obtained in a trade, and the Presonus was bought new from Sweetwater audio. Initially, I had planned on just using the Presonus as my only audio processing unit, but I was never able to adjust it to my liking. So I then hooked the three units together, just using the preamp portion of the Presonus into the dbx and then into the Volumax. I still was not happy with the sound, and maybe I just don't know how to adjust these units properly.
I eventually gave up on this setup and went with a Grace design preamp into a dbx 131s graphic equalizer into a trio of CRL systems processing units. This gives me very good audio reports from my RE27 mike.

Therefore, the Presonus, dbx160X, and the Volumax are up for sale. I have $300 in the Presonus and Volumax units. I traded a large NOS mod transformer for the dbx, so maybe another $50-75 for that unit. I would like to sell them as a package. $250 plus actual shipping for all three units.
