Title: WA1HLR W4THF K4KYV WW9W WA1UQM off-air recording 4/19
Post by: WB2CAU on April 20, 2005, 09:35:58 PM
Last evening between 9 and 10 o’clock EDT, band conditions were quite nice on 75m here in the Northeast and the QRM level was fairly low. There were some static crashes but not too bad.

The stations, WA1HLR,  W4THF,  K4KYV, WW9W,  and  WA1UQM all had a FB AM QSO worthy of taping.  So, I recorded them, converted it into a manageable MP3 and uploaded it to my personal storage site on the web.  There’s almost 57 minutes worth at the link below:

Those stations (as well as anyone else interested) now have the opportunity to hear what they sounded like on my Kenwood R-2000 receiver.  The only drawback is that the R-2000 does slowly roll off the low end below 100 cycles.

Comments?
