Title: unknown connecter??
Post by: wb6kwt on July 25, 2019, 02:33:56 PM
Can anyone tell me what this connector is called, I'm trying to figure out how to open it to check the wiring inside.

Thanks,

Connector in photo looks like Amphenol 126 series.
API makes them now.  From this link you can download a spec sheet: https://www.tedss.com/Connectors/126-Series-Miniature-Hexagonal-Connectors

Its been my sad experience that those connector are easily broken. They're OK to use inside a radio... not so much on the outside.

The backshell just unscrews from the pin plate.

Instead of opening it and risking screwing it up why not ohm out the wires connected to it?
