Title: Ordering crystals for a rca bta-1r transmitter Post by: Ac8wp on July 08, 2019, 03:23:00 PM Hello all, I wanted to order crystals for a bta-1r transmitter and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the required load capacitance ( if it has one). I know a vfo can be used instead however I wanted it to be rock bound.
Thanks AC8WP Title: Re: Ordering crystals for a rca bta-1r transmitter Post by: DMOD on July 09, 2019, 08:56:26 PM Counting the tube's input capacitance and the BTA's warping cap, it is ~ 30 pF.
