Title: Help with transformer ID
Post by: W8ACR on June 12, 2019, 11:12:47 PM
I have a nice Collins plate transformer, and I'm trying to figure out what it came out of. It has a Collins brand, but was manufactured by Chicago Transformer.

Collins Part# 672-0307-00
Primary 230V
Secondary 2600-2600
Secondary current rating 300mA
It weighs about 40 lb I would guess

Can anybody tell me what I have here?
Thanks. Ron W8ACR

I think it came out of or is a replacement for the 30K1 Collins transmitter.
