Title: Heard on the Waste Coast
Post by: WV Hoopie on April 17, 2005, 11:28:04 AM
Too much coffee last night and could not sleep, so I turned on the R-390A about midnight local time. With just a couple feet of #12 wire stuck in the unbalanced antenna jack, HLR & KYV were making the trip fine business.

Conditions must have been great, should have a station on the air by late May.

later.............wd8kdg,
Springfield, OR.

Conditions were great on 75 meters yesterday from the daylight hours right on through to night time. There were lots of big signals and NO static. I wanted to play some late-night radio but was too crapped out.
