Title: Problem With Post
Post by: W9ZSL on May 07, 2019, 02:11:52 PM
I started a thread in Technical regarding Driver Transformer Ratios. I wrote a reply and added some info including diagrams and a pix of the monitor. Must have done something wrong because I'm "locked out" of the topic. When I click on it, all I get is a blank screen.  Mike W9ZSL

Same here. Blank page.

I answered to put 2660 Ohms across each half of the secondary if using 325V and expecting 12K plate to plate load. But that's gone as well.

Since the test calls for using the entire secondary, I figured out that 5K plus a 20 ohm wire-wound pot would do the job. One leg of the pot and one side of the secondary is grounded. All I have to do is lift the center tap from ground and plug in the resistor/pot combo and that should do it! Thanks!

Guys, sorry about this.  No idea what happened or why; it has happened before but very rarely.  No way to recover the thread that we know of.

I deleted the thread, suggest you re-start it.

Probably something I did when trying to make attachments. This happened once before. At any rate, problem is solved. I found a 5K, 20 watt resistor that should work just fine for the test of the driver.  73!
