Title: Help ID Dale Part
Post by: W1KSZ on May 05, 2019, 01:59:24 PM
The AF-67 has a couple of parts marked DALE ICS 1041-2. They are small
cylindrical parts, covered with what looks like cloth braid.

That part number was re-purposed so a Google search didn't come up with
anything.

Anyone know what they are ?

Tnx, Dick, W1KSZ

Would this schematic help?

How about a picture showing it in the unit.

Where are they on the schematic?   What are they connected to?

Dale to me implies a resistive element of some sort.   Dale made power resistors for decades.

Yeah, I see nothing in the parts list other than "standard parts".

Where are these parts on the schematic or parts list?
Probably a resistorr, but possibly a choke. Speculating.

There are a few mods done to this rig. Over-Mod Indicator, NBFM Deviation Control
and another Pot mounted on the rear panel that I have yet to figure out.

These Dale parts are part of the Mods.

Tnx for all the replies,

So the component is a "black box". Maybe make some measurements?
