Post by: AG5UM on April 15, 2019, 04:06:53 PM
Does anyone know how to find info on a "Retired" callsign???
I recently acquired a few handmade items by a Ham K6GOI, and was impressed with their work,
so I tried to lookup the callsign but its not active in the FCC database.
any idea's????  73's to  K6GOI.

From the Spring 1956 Callbook:
K6GOI George W. Rainey, 1208 Paseo Del Mar, San Pedro,

From the Spring 1966 Callbook:
K6GOI ROBERT M. PERRY, 5020 HOLYOKE WAY" , SACRAMENTO 4 1

That's all I can find.

I also found George Rainey in the 1961 Callbook, same address.

Thanks everyone for the information, the website looks very cool, Thanks.
It's a lot of fun to have things from other Hams, to know someone built or used something that I'm using
is inspiring, it makes me want to build something! Thanks again for the help.
