Title: US Callbook Magazine 1930-1990 Selected Years OnlineArchive
Post by: W1RC on March 06, 2019, 05:49:47 AM
Somebody obviously had a lot of time on his (or her) hands.  They scanned the US Callbooks from 1930 to 1990.  Here is the link:

I got same results.  However, I looked up the call direct on the internet and did find that "snarked" link which I was able to access.

The splash page says it's a site for individual users, which makes sense considering the tilde before the callsign in the URL.

The link http://www.snarked.org/~k6bde/ works, but I didn't find anything on the page that leads to a callsign archive.

If anyone has the original file, I would greatly appreciate having a copy: I'm a VE, and that file may make the difference between an applicant being able to get credit for a previously-held license, or having to retake a test.

Thanks in advance.

73,

Bill, W4EWH

Well I found this site and within two minutes I found my original call from in 1967 so now I'll see if I can find it from 1959 or 1960? I cannot remember exactly when I wuz first licensed?  Corrected, It dose show the class of license. Updated again. It shows the class of license sometimes and on other pages,it does not?

Those listings appear to be limited to "zero" calls only.

There are a few steps that must be taken. select the year or years that you want to look at, then when a page pops up click on the body of the page and then move down the page to the bottom and you will see the individual call districts listed. There might be an easier way to navigate but right now I have a doctors appointment so I'll look at it later and see what I can find to make it easier?
