Title: Kenyon transformer and choke info needed.
Post by: W8KHZ on January 27, 2019, 06:51:10 AM
Hi guys,

I have a medium sized Kenyon plate transformer and choke that I need info for. They are as follows:

Plate transformer   T-670

Choke   S-9947

Does anyone have any info on these?

Thanks!

I took a look at some of the Kenyon catalogs on the Bunker of Doom but could not find anything. You may need to measure the resistance and inductance, weight them and then try to match them up as best you can with the specs in the catalog. Kenyon used to make a lot of custom stuff and the numbers were unique and not listed in the catalogs.

the S- unit doesn't look like a Kenyon...

The T-670 is in the attachment.

Thank you for this info. Its a big help!  The "S" model chokes are in fact Kenyon (They have a Kenyon tag on them) but maybe made for a special application or customer?

There are a few Kenyon parts here with numbers that are not in any document I have ever found. The only thing to do is measure.
