Title: Hallicrafters HT-44 Modifications Post by: W1KSZ on December 17, 2018, 09:54:53 AM Anyone have any info on Mods for the Hallicrafters HT-44 Transmitter ?
I picked up one that looks like a T/R Relay was added inside and a second RCA Phone Jack was added to connect to the SX-117 Receiver. Not sure yet what else has been done to it. The jack would be to connect the antenna to the receiver when in receive. BAMA has the manual but it's in DJVU form. The plug-in is available on the web. I did it to mine. Beats having the extra box and cables running around.

Found an original manual for the HT-44 !! From it's color, it looks like it came from the Mummy's Tomb. Very brittle and darkened paper, but it's readable. All has been explained. Thanks for all the replies. Tnx es HH, Dick, W1KSZ |
