Title: SX-117 Revision Identification
Post by: W1KSZ on December 07, 2018, 09:23:43 PM
I know there are a few revisions to the SX-117 (A thru E or F), but how can
one tell from the Serial Number which Rev Level the receiver was built to ?

Thanks, Dick, W1KSZ

Dick,

I had an SX-117 I worked on about a year ago.  The following link should help.

Check the mentioned resistor values in your actual receiver against those in the article.

I'm not sure there is a direct correlation between serial number and revision.

The serial number stamped into the chassis has a single letter suffix which indicates the rev level.
