Title: 80 and mw
Post by: pe1mph on October 20, 2018, 01:14:21 AM
Hello AM Lovers,

This morning I awake early and listen to 80 and mw!
May I first tell you about 80?

I heard a few stations on 3885 khz, but weak signals.
It sounds like Tim, a long talker...

Then I had a talk on 3660 with F6AQK.
A pity I could not receive 9H1ES and 9H5OO from Island Malta.
Many ssb on freq....

And readers often I hear a talkstation from the USA on 1440 khz.
Sometimes I receive two....
I tried to find out which station I hear, but the USA is a big country...
A pity they mention not often the station name....
And they talk fast, a little to fast for me.
Evenso I hear this station with fading...
I enclose a recording....

After long I found those webreceiver: http://68.33.101.145:8073/

KiwiSDR: Software-defined receiver at WB4KLJ
Arlington,Virginia USA | Grid: FM18ku, ASL: 82m, [map]

There I can hear (not strong) the same audio like on my radio.

Yes I know it is difficult to find out the station I hear! ;)
