Title: Ranger II tuning procedure question-REVISED Post by: w3khg on June 28, 2018, 10:14:49 AM On page 8, C. 3. c. says to turn the Meter switch to the "PLATE" position. The meter needle then indicates 30mA of current. Is this normal? Is there always a "resting" plate current of 30mA. This indication is when the OPERATE switch is in STANDBY. 73 john/w3khg Disregard. This current is due to the clamper tube 6AQ5 conducts during low plate values for final protection. |
