Post by: i5kap on June 09, 2018, 08:54:50 AM
Greetings to the community of 10m AMPHONE, 03/06/2018 thanks Tom VA1SEA after 2 years finally the jump of the Atlantic Ocean in 10m AM, very strong signal but for a short time, my power in use was 40W carrier , the 04/06/2018, 3 QSOs with north American stations in SSB with 100W of power, but it was surprising in this day activity in 10m AM, I had the good fortune to meet many as 28 European stations including Henk PE1MPH of which I had already read some of his topic but I had never in the contract in radio, today with Henk we already feel once again on the radio and via email, I think that our radio activities hast a good evolution in Europe, 73 Franco I5KAP

Hi, hi Franco,
There a lot of stations who know, how nice qso-ing on Ten meter in AM can be....
A pity, not often good conditions!
I sent an email to my AM lovers, 'to keep an eye on' 29000 khz.
Perhaps they hear once/suddenly a station calling in AM!!

Yes I had already fantastic qso's on Ten/15 mtrs with several countries.
With only +/- 10 Watt comming out my old Yaesu FT 901 connect with a piece of wire!

I hope Ten (and 15) mtrs. goes soon open again. :)

Greetings,

Henk, pe1mph
