Title: The Four Musketeers
Post by: w1vtp on April 01, 2018, 03:24:29 PM
While looking for the images for my Bendix TA-12, I discovered this long buried in my archives a picture of the Four Musketeers.

It was, quite a few years ago now!

That photo reminds of some crazy phonetics we were coming up with for each other's call signs.

Yep, the 2011 Nearfest.

Joe/ PJP used to say each year, "How many of these do we have left?" IE, don't miss any.  They were so much fun...  the highlight of the year - ham radio-wise.

Steve- that was the year we talked in CW across the flea market with those chicken squawkers.  Just like birds communicating.

Or singing the Russian Tro-lo-lo song in the crowd.  People surely thought we were nuts. They tended to walk around to avoid us.

Or the time I walked into the women's bathroom and took care of biz before realizing my mistake. You guys laughed and didn't say a word. The "Wo" part of the sign was hidden because of the angle.
