Title: 75 meters here in ND
Post by: W8ACR on March 07, 2018, 11:56:40 AM
75 meters has been pretty good here in ND over the past few weeks. On any given night, I can usually hear AM QSO's from New England, the west coast, Mid-Atlantic USA, and the Texas/SW USA area. Pretty much the entire country except Florida and Alaska/Hawaii is being heard on 75 AM. I took the Taylor 822 out of the HB rig and put in an RCA 8000 triode. 300 watts carrier no sweat. I'll try to get on the air frequently over the next few weeks and log a few more contacts before the spring storms/QRN get going full force.
