Title: E.F. Johnson or Cardwell Air Variable Needed
Post by: Todd, KA1KAQ on November 24, 2017, 02:43:13 PM
Still looking for one last bread slicer for the Meissner 150-B project.

It was originally produced by E.F. Johnson under the model number 250E45 (or E series) which was later changed to 154-16-1.
This number carried through after Cardwell and later Viking Technologies purchased the Johnson variable cap line.

Looking for the original type only to fit the original footprint. Manufacturer not important. About 10 inches long, 55 plates, 1/8th inch spacing.

Photos attached. Thanks for looking.

Still looking. 154-16 or 154-16-1 are the most likely numbers to find it under as they was used by EFJ, Cardwell, and now Viking.

Roughly 11" long. 55 plates, 1/8" spacing. Used in amps like the Drake L4B and (I think) Collins 30L-1, also antenna tuners. Used to see them listed everywhere until I needed one.

Need this to bring the old Meissner 150B back online.

Thanks.
