Bassett Electronics Gg330. Runs a single 4-1000 in grounded grid service. Has 30 amp fuses in the live and neutral leads of the 110 circuit..... And is a 4kw pep ssb / 2 kw CW input amp! Vacuum variables for both tune and load. Vacuum relay for antenna changeover. Although a supposed military and aerospace electronics manufacturer, the paperwork I got with this amp says that this was used as a presentation model at an August 1958 ARRL Convention in Washington DC. I have a few typewritten pages, along with a handwritten operation and installation manual. Oddly, the typewritten pages show it as 'handling a kw input power with ease'.... The handwritten notes show '2000 Watt CW / 4000 Watt pep' as the input power rating. The power supply is a //few// hundred pounds. One gargantuan transformer, a couple fil xformers for the 3b28 rectifiers (it's already solid stated), two oil caps and a choke. Complete with art deco / Collins styling. Power supply has a few mouse turds, and a VERY minimal amount of chewing in the hv lead (the mouse liked that insulation. The other wires all appeared OK) so I need to clean that portion up. It has a 3 and 4 kv tap (high and low) which it states 'due to the robustness of components used, may be switched during tx'.... Right. Lol. I'll add pix as I take them. I got no interconnect cables, so I'm on the hunt for a 12 pin cinch Jones plug and socket. One male and one female, both cord ends. And a pair of those damn Millen hv connectors. Designed for HT32, FPM-200, KWM2 or 32S-1 drive levels. The power supply of this beast (3kw ccs it states) probably weighs as much as my Harris RF103....
