Day off was set aside to clear branches and brush for the 160m eL, and now this. I even brought out the Festivus pole / spinning reel assembly.

Its so good you'll be able to not only do the 160 meter antenna, but the 630 meter one now too! Look on the bright side.  :o

19 deg. and ~2 inches, but its blowing around.

I'm going outside for a while and see how long I can cut/trim before my neck gives out. But not until after lunch; maybe I'll dally until after the 'noontime forum'.... I don't know.....

 YUCK!!!! Sunny and in the 60's here, supposed to rain on Monday.

Spent the last few hours getting in all the hoses and plants that winter over on the porch in. Going down to about 16 here on the CT shore tonight.  Temp has been dropping all day , wind roaring, the front started passing through early this morning, clouds from it made for a great sunrise at Stonington Point this morning. Weather Channel just had a video up of guys surfing on Lake Ontario off Irondequoit, NY.

Chris, is that the view from your house?  That's absolutely gorgeous!  Not to mention a superb RF location.

Sigh... I'm still waiting for it to cool down until I do my outdoor projects.  It was 85 today.  The tradeoff is that I'm completely surrounded by sand by like 300 miles. 

Anyway, I am envious of your view.  I'd love to have oceanfront property on this coast in California somewhere, but I don't have a million-billion dollars to buy a plot.

Stonington Point is about 5 miles from the home QTH.  I go down there to operate QRP CW mobile with an Elecraft K1.  Great propagation from there with saltwater  all around from the NE to the NW.
