Lawrenceville GA hamfest photos

Things seemed to get started more slowly than in previous years but by 0930 I'd guess there were 90% of the tailgaters as last year. A notable selection of Collins St James Gray gear, plus all the usual Heathkit, Drake, etc. gear on offer. An interesting deal I saw was a nice Johnson Ranger, missing the plate tank coil and cabinet, but otherwise complete - asking $75. There were several estate sales with a good assortment of parts and projects. Check out the link on my page to the TTY exhibits too.

It was also missing many of the tubes, and the modulation transformer.  But it followed me home anyway.  It will become the RF exciter for the QRO 160M and 75M rigs here.

There was also a disassembled but mostly complete Viking II for $75 as well.  Not sure if it was sold.
