Title: Window Line, Clearances?? Post by: W6TOM on October 28, 2017, 03:36:48 PM Going to replace my coax fed, 80/40 meter dipole with a Window Line fed dipole and I am now in the process of determining how to route the Window Line into my garage where the shack is. I've played with a the same type of antenna while visiting both of my sisters in MA, it seems the Window Line is not bothered by proximity to non metallic things but I wonder what clearances I should try to maintain from electrical (AC) conduits and low voltage wiring which will be an issue in my garage.

IE, if the window line is spaced 3ninches, then keep it 9 inches from anything. I also tend to twist it gently when going near metal.
