Title: Hallicrafters SX-25 Question
Post by: w8pu on September 04, 2017, 07:09:25 PM
I recently installed reproduction dials on my SX-25 and in the process of transferring the brass dial washers and collar I lost my " set screw to tuning capacitor shaft reference", long story. Can someone tell me what the main tuning dial reads when fully CCW and CW. Thanks in advance ...

So with the main tuning cap plates fully messed the dial should read 100 on the logging scale?

Gary,
I don't remember how the logging scale goes, but for example on the BC band it should read 540

Just looked at mine... Logging scale is at 100 when the main tuning cap is fully meshed. Or 540 on the BC band as Carl noted.
