Title: Home Brew CW TX Post by: W6TOM on August 12, 2017, 09:00:45 PM I got this from a friend who told me it works, puts out around 30 watts and he knows not another things about it. Construction is a work of art, used old style cloth covered wire mostly with a small amount of modern insulated wire, WWII parts.
Tube line up is two 6AG7 tubes an OA3 which I assume is for the oscillator and the power output tube I believe is WWII vintage and used for VHF, has GRC 825 on it. Weren't diodes like that more of a 1960's thing? Names like Starkes Tarzanian (spelling?) come to mind.
