Title: Docs for Northern Radio (Seattle) Type N535 Transmitter and N620 Receiver
Post by: W7JYJ on August 01, 2017, 01:45:49 AM
Has anybody got any docs on the Northern Radio (Seattle) Type N535 Model "E" radio-telephone transmitter and the
companion Model N620 receiver?  Or links to them online?  I searched the docs section of this website without success.

They're mounted in 27-inch high cabinets.  The transmitter has a pair of 6146's modulated by a pair of 6146's.  The
PS has a pair of 866's.  There is an extra tube in one of the transmitters that is not present in the other transmitter.
See the attached photos.  Note the tube in the lower right corner of the right transmitter with its cover plate removed.
There's a tube shield on it.  Not present in the transmitter on the left.

The left transmitter cabinet has a rear door that opens.  It has the lower S/N.   The right transmitter cabinet has a
non-removable metal back and has the higher S/N.
