Title: Mercury wetted relays
Post by: ka1tdq on March 20, 2017, 10:09:35 PM
I got two of these small mercury wetted relays from eBay for $10.  I removed the PNP transistor that I used for keying my 20 meter QRP rig and replaced it with one.  The nice thing is that they're quick and there's no voltage drop.

The only disadvantage is that you need to keep it level.  I'm going to try this on the mountain near my house and will have to set it on the dash of the car evenly.
