Title: 40m FADE OUT
Post by: flintstone mop on March 04, 2017, 10:22:20 AM
Hello

I was SWL'ing on 40M with the SDR. The band was full of nice signals, Friday, 3-3-2017. After 7PM it seemed like someone activated an attenuator and all those big signals were reduced many dB's. And there was like a mask of noise underneath it all.

There was a solar storm yesterday through part of the evening 3/3/17. Many of the signals went into dumster and noise levels rose.

The band seemed FB today. I was hearing eastern Europe loud and clear at 4 PM. Contest was in full swing.
