Title: Phantom comic strip using BA gear
Post by: w1vtp on October 25, 2016, 12:11:57 PM
I'm a fan of The Phantom.  Look at these two strips:

In todays strip I see  a linear amp (little detail)  The other unit seems to be a NC 300

I cannot make out the exciter in yesterday's strip.  Suggestions?

Al

Al, seems "generic" to me... wonder which one of the artists is the ham?

The box sitting on top of the NC-30x on the 25th appears to be patterned after the Millen 92200 transmatch.

I loved the Phantom strip when I was about 10 years old.  So mysterious and adventuresome!
